Becoming an Eco-School

22 April 2021

Do you want to be an Eco-School?

In partnership with Keep Britain Tidy (KBT), the Council is launching the Hounslow Eco-Schools Programme in September 2021 and invites you all to an information sharing session on Wednesday 28th April, from 9:30am – 10:15am. At the session we will introduce you to the Eco-Schools Programme in more depth and to give you the opportunity to ask any questions, offer suggestions and give feedback. You can find out more about Eco-Schools (which is a Keep Britain Tidy Programme) on their website. To attend, please contact Heather Carlisle (Environmental Champions Coordinator [email protected]) who will be able to share the invite.

Survey – How environmentally friendly is my school?

We would like to get your thoughts, feedback and ideas on a number of environmental priorities through a survey we have developed to allow the council to understand the support and resources you require as we develop the Eco-Schools Programme. The Eco-Schools survey can be accessed via this link and only takes 15mins to complete

Please feel free to forward the survey link to School contacts who you think may like to get involved in the borough. The more responses we receive, the better we’ll be able to help you and your school. Taking part in the survey will also count as a consultation activity under the TfL STARS accreditation scheme so be sure to record your story online!
