Youth Travel Ambassador Programme Launched in Borough

The Youth Travel Ambassador Programme (YTA) kicked off at Bolder Academy in Isleworth last week, with 12 Year 7 students taking on the role of Travel Ambassadors for their school!
The YTA programme provides young people aged 11 to 19 with the skills and confidence to address transport issues affecting their school community and also counts towards the borough's school travel planning scheme (STARS).
Students can bid to win up to £250 for their sustainable travel campaign at a Dragon's Den style event and are also awarded a YTA Leadership Award at the end of the year.
