After Nishkam School, West London's success with the Youth Travel Ambassador (YTA) Programme run by Transport for London (TfL) and the London Transport Museum, it was the turn of two more schools to enter the 'Dragon's Den' and pitch for funding for their sustainable travel projects.

Students from Bolder Academy were awarded £215 to help run two challenges; a travel to school car free competition and a TfL Oyster Card wallet competition to encourage pupils to use sustainable transport instead of the car.

The team from The Green School for Girls were awarded £250 to help them organise a bus 'fair' event, where students can experience what it is like to be a bus driver.

Congratulations to both schools for obtaining funding!

The 2018/19 academic year has seen more schools than ever before taking part in the year-long YTA Programme in Hounslow!
