Active Travel Competition: The Big Pedal 2018

In two weeks time, a number of Hounslow schools will be taking part in the Sustrans Big Pedal 2018; the UK's largest inter-school cycling/scooting competition!
Between Monday, 23rd April and Friday, 4th May 2018, schools/classes taking part in The Big Pedal are encouraged to cycle or scoot to school as often as they can; the schools with the highest proportion of active travel (over 15%) will be entered into a daily prize draw, whilst the top performing school across the 10-day challenge will also receive an exclusive trophy from Sustrans.
The theme for 2018's Big Pedal is 'Around the World', after Athlete and Broadcaster Mark Beaumont cycled around the world in a record breaking 78 days earlier this year!
