Junior Road Watch

On Wednesday 30th of November and Monday 4th of December 2 classes of Year 5 from Westbrook primary enjoyed Junior Road Watch with the London metropolitan police, STARS borough officers, and the Head of Transport, Jefferson Nwokeoma.
The children were able to stop and ask questions to a speeding driver as well as make them pledge to never speed again. The PCSO team within Hounslow taught pupils the dangers associated with speeding, as well as careless behaviour when crossing the roads, and being inside of a moving vehicle.
This Junior Road Watch was special as the Head of Transport at Hounslow Council was able to see the great work the schools, the police, the transport planning and road safety team are doing.
