Hounslow's Air Quality Summit

Over 100 people attended Hounslow's inaugural Air Quality Summit on Tuesday, 26th February 2019. Highlights from the day included London's Walking and Cycling Commissioner, Will Norman, spreading the message that making roads safer for walking & cycling does not cause air pollution but is a vital part of making our air clean and safe to breathe.

We learnt in an announcement by Dr William Bird at Intelligent Health, that Beat the Street will be returning to Hounslow in September 2019, with the aim of making it the scheme even bigger and better than in previous years.

Year 3 Ambassadors from the William Hogarth Primary School in Chiswick spoke about the anti-idling posters that they created, and what air quality meant to them.
