Beat the Street 2019 Results

1 November 2019

Beat the Street has come to an end after 6 brilliant weeks of walking, running, cycling and scooting around the borough! Collectively participants in Hounslow have travelled an incredible 96,849 miles, winning prizes for schools and charities while keeping fit. Springwell School topped the overall leaderboard with a total of 174,800 points scored throughout the game. They were followed by Hounslow Town in second place (130,790 points) and St Lawrence RC Primary in third (113,780 points). Congratulations are also in order for Isleworth & Syon - our secondary school winners who travelled 200 miles together! A ward breakdown of 1st and 2nd place winners can be found below.

BtS Results 2019

Everyone who took part should be proud of their contribution to team and borough totals which can be found here. Without your engagement, Beat the Street wouldn't be what it is - an enjoyable and active community game that brings out the competitive nature in all of us. It has been great to see pupils throw themselves into the game so enthusiastically and schools encouraging families to take part on weekends and over the half term holiday. We hope your engagement in active travel can be sustained by walking and cycling to school as much as possible!

What's next?

The borough's achievements will be celebrated loud and proud on Saturday the 16th of November and schools/community organisations will be choosing their pick of prizes.
